PATA & RYLAND is the culmination of two close friends, Eamon Ryland and Giuseppe Patane’, whose musical tastes and aspirations get harmoniously, focused on writing and performing inspired music that is relevant to themselves as well as their audience. The band has a unique and organic approach to creating and performing music, drawing on influences ranging from Townes Van Zandt & JJ Cale to Ennio Morricone, from Led Zeppelin & Rolling Stones to Radiohead. PATA & RYLAND have the ability to blend Rock, Country, Blues, and Folk music with conviction, authenticity, and modern originality.
PATA & RYLAND sound a lot like the lost soundtrack to the great American road trip as seen through the dirty windshield of an old, beat-up El Dorado with the windows rolled down, the fuel gauge at just above EMPTY, and only half a pack of cigarettes, a warm beer, and a transistor radio to guide you home…
The band independently released their debut as "Humdinger" in February 2007, and in support, they're performing in the Los Angeles area regularly, beginning regional and national touring (California, Nevada, Arizona & East Coast).
